- Then add ginger-garlic, onion and green chilies and fry for 2 minutes. Add salt to taste. Then add carrot and fry for one minute. Then add water as required. Also add frozen sweet corn and tomato. Cover the kadai with a lid and cook for 5-7 minutes.
- Then open the lid and add rest of the vegetables and cover again and cook for another 5 minutes. The flame should be medium to high.
- After 5 minutes open the lid and check whether the vegetables are tendered and chicken is cooked. Switch off the flame. Serve it hot in the bowl and sprinkle some black pepper. Enjoy the soup with bread.
Remove chicken from pot and let cool slightly; shred into bite-size pieces. Strain broth through a fine-mesh sieve into a large bowl; set aside. Remove from heat and add chicken. Serve stew over rice and garnish with cilantro leaves. Although I did shallow fry the chicken strips in this photo, you can easily oven bake them instead.
