Tandoori Chicken Tikka is cooked in a chilli and garlic marinade to create a delicious tikka dish. Bombay chilli cheese toasties stuffed with spicy potatoes, green chutney, onions & melted cheese. Using thick curd aka hung curd or greek yogurt is the key to make good tikkas. Traditionally, chicken tikka is baked in a clay oven called a tandoor, which basically makes this recipe a boneless chicken version of the Indian dish tandoori chicken.

Instructions to make Green Chicken Tikka:
  1. Grind mint-coriander, green chillies, spinach leaves to a smooth paste.
  2. In a big mixing bowl combine the green paste,curd,garam masala,lime juice,ginger-garlic paste. Mix well and marinate the chicken pieces in the mixture for 5-6 hrs atleast.
  3. Grease a deep oven proof dish with oil & transfer the marinated chicken in this dish.
  4. Preheat oven to 200 degree & bake the chicken until done. Remove from the oven. Be careful not to overcook.
  5. For tandoori aroma- heat a piece of charcoal & place it in the prepared dish. Add a dash of oil/butter and immediately cover it with a lidso dat smoke stays inside. Let it stand for atleast 5-10 minutes. Remove the coal & serve hot.
