- Drizzle both sides of the bread with olive oil and season with salt and pepper, place croutons in a hot griddle pan. If you don't have a griddle pan you can toast the bread in a very hot oven for about 10 minutes.
- Griddle the bread to achieve bar marks on both sides, when well marked rub with the garlic again while its still warm.
