- Marinate in the sesame oil and chicken powder. In a small pot, heat up some oil on high heat for deep frying. i kept the fat as I like to fry this separately, no wastage!
- Coat the beef (not the fat pieces) in corn flour. Shake it to ensure evenly coated
- Start frying half of the beef. Once crispy, let it rest on a rack so the excess oil drips off and the crispyness remains. Cook the other half once the first batch is done.
- In a saucepan, gather all the sauce ingredients and heat this up on full heat. You may need to alter this to suit your taste. Mine was tangy but could use improvement next time! Cook this until it thickens. If itβs still watery, keep stirring on high heat until it thickens.
- Once the sauce thickens, coat the crispy beef pieces and then serve. I served mine separately and didnβt drench in the sauce as I wanted the pieces to remain crispy ;) ENJOY!
