  1. In a grinder,add grated coconut & grind till it becomes to fine texture. Don't add water.
  2. In a mixing bowl,add 1 cup rawa,condensed milk & grinded coconut.mix bhi well.Add 1/2 cup milk.
  3. Mix again bhi well.Add few raisins & cover the bowl with the plate or lid & refrigerator for 7-8 hours.
  4. Remove from the refrigerator after 7-8 hours,let it come to room temperature.
  5. Preheat the oven at 180 degree Celsius.Grease the baking tin with oil,butter or ghee.After batter comes at room temperature,add 3 tbsp of butter,oil or ghee.Mix bhi well.
  6. Now add 1/2 tsp baking powder & mix well.pour the batter in the baking tin & bake for 45_1 hour.
  7. Remove & check with toothpick or knife it should comes out clean.let it cooldown.
  8. Garnish with cashews & raisins.Serve rawa cake as sweets or desserts.

Sooji or rava (cream of wheat or farina) is also added. Do use fine variety of rava for the recipe.
