  1. Wash and soak the dal for an hour.
  2. Heat oil in a cooker with chopped onions.
  3. Cook till they become little brown add ginger garlic paste,cook till aroma smells off.

  10. Now add 2 Cups water.

  12. Let it cool down and then open the cover.
  13. Now mash all with the masher.
  14. Heat 2 tbsp of pure ghee in a pan with cumin seeds.
  15. When they crackle up,add chopped garlic cloves.mix well & stir for a second.
  16. Now add hing & dry mango powder.mix well & switch off the flame.Pour this tempering over the cooked veggies.
  17. Cook on low flame for 5 minutes.Serve hot with jerra rice or chapati.
